New publication available

Back in 2012, Arne participated as a junior researcher at the “Culture – Theory – Disability. Encounters between Disability Studies and Cultural Studies Conference” in Cologne, Germany. Almost five years later, the organization committee of this conference finally managed to edit and publish a book compiling most of the talks given at that conference.
Arne’s article is a reply to a talk given by Kateřina Kolářová from the Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic. Within this chapter, he “supplements Kolářová’s analysis by positing the merits of an intersectional approximation of the categories of disability and social class” (Berressem et al. 2017, 15).
The book was chosen for open access on the degruyter.com website and can be accessed for free shortly.
